Sarah was  a child who always drew dinosaurs and dragons on her homework. Later while in high school as a Zoology Teachers Assistant, despite a strong aptitude in Science, she went to art school at Laguna College of Art and Design in southern California. Sarah graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts and continued her education receiving a Certificate in Scientific Illustration from the University of Washington. Sadly art always took a back seat to the hustle and bustle of making ends meet. She worked retail customer service for a few years until finally finding her niche in the craft beverage industry.  Her love of painting plants and drinking craft beer & cider came full circle when she did a watercolor for a Whidbey Island hard cider label. Since then she has been encouraged by friends and family to follow her art and be inspired by life on Whidbey Island. She enjoys painting plants and animals, dinosaurs,dragons and Naval jets.
